The rapid development of information technology in the era of globalization has a major impact on various fields of life, including education. In the context of learning at the elementary school (SD) or madrasah ibtidaiyah (MI) level, technology plays an important role in creating a more interesting, effective and meaningful teaching and learning process. One of the subjects that requires an innovative approach in its delivery is Natural Sciences (IPA), because it contains material that is abstract, complex, and often difficult to understand by students if delivered conventionally. In facing these challenges, the utilization of digital-based learning media such as YouTube videos is a potential alternative. YouTube as a video sharing platform provides a variety of educational content that can be easily accessed by teachers and students. Science learning videos on YouTube are able to present real visualizations of scientific concepts, thus helping students build a more concrete understanding and increase their interest in learning. In addition, the use of videos can also create a more fun and interactive learning atmosphere. The author argues that the integration of YouTube videos in science learning is not only able to improve understanding of the material, but also plays a major role in motivating students to be more active and enthusiastic in participating in lessons. In practice, teachers can select or classify videos that are relevant to the learning material to support the explanation delivered in class. This is very helpful, especially for teachers who have difficulty making physical learning media due to limited time and resources.
